Lake District holidays – Road Bike Miles and Freedom
There are a huge number of road bike cycle routes to mix and match together, and our expert guide can flex each ride as the day progresses, to make it work for you. The day can simply be guided with a few coaching techniques on key areas such as cornering at speed, advanced braking for additional traction, efficient pedaling whilst climbing, and so on. Alternatively, it can be pure guiding with a certain mileage or Lake District attraction being the focus – the choice is yours. We’ll select a great country pub or café for lunch, then enjoy more spinning with amazing landscapes in the afternoon. We'll get you back at around 4 pm.
The final part of the day will be time spent setting you up for two further days of your self-guided cycling holiday, or walking, over the weekend. Your Guide is an expert cycle route planner and now that he knows your interests and abilities he can mark up maps, give ideas and help you to shape two perfect further days of Lake District UK exploration. This keeps your costs down – by only having one full day of guiding service – but still lets you benefit from the best local knowledge to make your Lake District holidays a success.
