Have you just started your Mountain Bike journey and are looking for a mountain bike lesson to learn the core skills needed to travel safely around your local MTB trails? Our beginners Get Started mountain bike coaching, is aimed at riders that are comfortable on a bike, but are new to the experiences of off-road riding.

This one-day mountain bike lesson is designed to teach you the correct skills from the start, allowing you to avoid the common trial-and-error mistakes that most people make when learning to mountain bike.

Age Limits

Minimum age 14. Any under 18’s needs to be accompanied by an adult who is also on the course

Course group size 2 - 8

Intensive one-day courses with small groups guaranteed

Grades

Fitness grade - 1
Basic fitness from exercise once or twice per week. Can ride on flat or gently rolling terrain at a steady pace. Usually have the stamina to spend 2-4 hours out on a ride.

Skills Grade - A
No experience of mountain biking or limited experience, mainly on gravel tracks or smooth trails, but can already cycle.
